The 2018 Bricktober sets images are released. They have in the past been distributed as a free gift with purchase or could have been purchased at some countries in TRU. The TRU print on the box have been removed as TRU is still embroiled in the bankruptcy issues in the US thus it could no longer be a TRU exclusive this year. This year we have Jurassic World, Harry Potter, Ninjago and Infinity War themes for the four minifigure packs.
Rumours of the Cloud City has been confirmed with official images. The 2812 pieces set features four unique settings which includ a slave one docking bay, carbonizing chamber, cloud car platform and a promenade to recreate every iconic scene from the movies. The set features 18 unique minifigures plus 2 driods namely Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker in Bespin outfits, Chewbacca, C-3PO, Lando Calrissian, Lobot, 2 Cloud City Guards, 2 Cloud Car Pilots, Leia in her dinner dress and Han in Hoth outfits, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, 2 Stormtroopers and an Ugnaught, plus R2-D2 and an IG-88 droid.
With all the hype of the release of Harry Potter minifigures on 1 August in Singapore, Brick News Channel decided to try our night at our local Toys’R’us to search for the elusive and ultra exclusive Percival Graves minifigure! There is only 1 out of the 60 blind packs making it very very sought after! Similar to the classic Police in Series 18, yes, one per box! The Percival Graves minifigugre is tyically located in the first left row of every box and is likely the first few blind bags for those who are scouring for it. Fortunately, lady luck was shining upon Brick News Channel and we manage to find one, hallelujah! The blind bag is the only one with two hair pieces while making sure it is without a long rod making it relatively easy to discover. Good luck mates!
